New to MAFC
Congratulations on becoming an MAFC student!
This is where future finance professionals come to build their knowledge of real-world finance.
Our Master of Applied Finance focuses directly on how finance works in the real world today and the conceptual toolkit needed to understand and influence what will happen tomorrow. Our lecturers are actively engaged in the industry as finance practitioners and alert to its changing needs.
Building professional networks is an intrinsic part of the Macquarie experience. Your fellow students, professors and alumni network will support, inspire and challenge you throughout your career.
Ours is an outstanding program with an unparalleled reputation as the leading postgraduate applied finance qualification.
Our current network and our thousands of graduates can be found in key industry roles in every major financial centre around the world. Our students and alumni provide a vital link to industry for MAFC and are crucial to ensuring that the MAppFin remains up-to-date and relevant to the needs of the finance industry and corporate world.
We appreciate that students make a huge commitment, both financially and intellectually, when they sign up for the MAppFin Program and we are committed to supporting them throughout their studies and at every stage of their careers. We recognise that balancing work, study, family and friends is a significant challenge, which is why we do everything we can to make that challenge a little easier.
MAFC would like to encourage our students and graduates to keep in contact with us and with each other. Linked In groups and Facebook pages, along with an alumni newsletter, networking events and student/alumni focus groups are all helping to strengthen these networks.
